Tara Hutson

Tara K. Hutson joined Crane Agency in October of 2006, bringing with her extensive experience in Commercial Lines marketing and account management. With more than 34 years in the insurance industry, Tara plays a critical role in supporting Crane’s producer teams and maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners.

As Director of Commercial Lines Marketing, Tara oversees the day-to-day operations of the marketing department. She works closely with producers to develop competitive coverage strategies, align clients with the right carrier partners, and ensure each program is structured to meet the client’s specific needs. Her deep understanding of carrier relationships and market dynamics allows Crane to deliver thoughtful, reliable solutions across a wide range of industries.

Before joining Crane, Tara served as a Marketing Specialist at Affiliated Insurance Specialists from 2000 to 2006 and as a Commercial Account Manager at Lueders Associates from 1992 to 2000. These roles helped establish the technical expertise and carrier relationships she continues to rely on today.

When she’s not in the office, Tara enjoys spending time with her family and three grandchildren. She also enjoys staying active through fitness and traveling whenever she has the opportunity.
