About Mike Reedy, Jr.
Mike Reedy, Jr. is often asked how long he’s been at Crane. Officially, 21 years, but really his whole life. He’s only been earning a paycheck for 21.
He joined Crane in 2005 after graduating from Mizzou with a degree in Personal Finance. A third-generation broker, he learned the business under the guidance of his father, Mike Reedy, Sr. and uncles Tom, Scott and Chris Reedy.
He began his career in the Personal Lines department before expanding into Commercial Lines and Management Liability. Today, he works directly with business owners and executives across a wide range of industries, helping them build practical risk management strategies and navigate the challenges they may face.
Mike was named a Partner in 2012 and elected to the Board of Directors in 2022, serving as Executive Vice President and Secretary. In that role, he led the agency’s rebranding initiative and oversaw the office relocation to Chesterfield in 2024. In February 2026, he was elected the 12th President of Crane Agency, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and father.
As President, Mike is focused on providing strategic direction and long-term vision for the agency. He is actively investing in the future, balancing an ever-changing insurance landscape with a keen eye on process improvements, recruiting, and building a refreshed culture rooted in a genuine commitment to brokers, staff and clients alike.
When not in the office, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his children’s soccer and basketball teams and playing golf. He serves on the Board of Governors at St. Louis Priory School and is an active member of YPO.
After a lifetime at Crane, he’s never been more energized about what comes next.
