Don Hennen

Don Hennen joined the Crane Agency in 2013. Previously, Don worked in multiple positions at TravelersTravelers Insurance for 23 years, including as an adjuster in the automobile and general liability lines, workers compensation and property insurance. He also served as manager of the auto and general liability for seven years, andas the operations manager in the St. Louis office.

Don is the director of risk management and claims at Crane Agency. He serves as both as the manager of the risk management department, and as a liaison between all Crane brokers and our clients and insurance company partners. He assists in the resolution of complex claims and is involved with marketing the risk management department services to our clients. He answers technical questions about claims and coverage matters for Insurance brokers and our clients using his multi-line background. Don monitors claim handling and reserve practices of the insurance carrier adjusters. He is also involved with many other lines of insurance, including cyber, trucking/transportation, construction defect, management liability, crime and inland marine, among others.

Don manages three loss control representatives serving clients in all aspects of loss control and safety. His team can provide perspective to clients analyzing risks and helping them minimize their exposure to losses.

He is also past president of St. Louis Claims Manager Association. This organization provides financial assistance, giving tens of thousands of dollars annually, to local charities serving the St. Louis community.
