Deryk Morelock

Deryk Morelock joined Crane Agency in 2025 after spending 10 years in the business as a Commercial Risk Advisor. After several years working for other organizations, Deryk is proud to have landed with the Crane Agency as a business owner affiliate and enjoys a much greater level of control over the quality of his business.

Deryk started his insurance career on the direct writer side, and has experience on the regional and national level as a broker focused in the curriculum of real estate risks, developers, construction and property-centric accounts.  Deryk currently partners with clients in real estate development, LIHTC and market rate property management and construction.

Deryk currently serves as a client-focused retail broker, providing his partners an elevated risk management experience, and complete access to the marketplace.  

When not in the office, Deryk enjoys the outdoors and is usually working on his family farm and managing property. Deryk is a proud member of the Southeast Rotary Club in Springfield, and donates to several other nonprofits in town.
