Don is the Manager of the Risk Management Department at the Agency. He manages our claim and loss control staff. The Risk Management Department is a full-service department with many years of experience in nearly all aspects of claim handling and loss control. The Claim Department advocates for our Crane clients in any claim aspect that arises for the most favorable outcome possible. The Loss Control Team assists our clients using their experience in minimizing risk factors. The claim staff averages over twenty years of experience and our Loss Control Representatives have at least ten years of experience working for Insurance Companies and many years of experience serving as Loss Control Representatives.

Don has over 30 years of experience working in multi-line claims. His diverse claim background is an asset to Crane as he assists our brokers and our clients with a wide variety of claim services. He has experience working many different types of claims including the following. Don has handled Large Property losses, General Liability, Auto Liability, Worker's Compensation, Employment Practice Liability, Professional Liability Errors and Omissions, Cyber, Inland Marine, and Cargo claims. He is a past panel member of Arbitration Forums, and also past President of the St. Louis Claims Managers Association. During his free time he loves to fish, golf and follow all local college and professional sports.
