Doug Zey

Doug Zey began his career as a commercial insurance agent in 1990 with a national insurance company, based in Overland Park, Kansas. In 1995, he was promoted to district marketing manager for Southern Missouri, and relocated to Springfield, Missouri. As a district marketing manager, and later senior district marketing manager, Doug was responsible for hiring, training and mentoring new insurance professionals on insurance, risk management and marketing concepts. In 2005, Doug joined the Crane Agency as an insurance broker and entrepreneur, in their newly formed Springfield, Missouri office. He was attracted to Crane because of their unique business model, and unparalleled quality control and support personnel.

Doug enjoys partnering with business owners to develop unique insurance strategies and risk management solutions to protect what they have worked so long and hard to build. Doug is a full service broker, offering property and casualty, workers compensation, bonding, benefits, life insurance and personal lines coverage solutions to his clients.

Doug graduated from Central Missouri State University in 1987 with a bachelor of science degree. He currently resides in Nixa, Missouri, with his wife Debbie, and is the proud father of four daughters.
